EXAM PAPER LEAKS
How to easily and properly resolve the huge exam / test papers leaks issue.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams or tests are crucial for the students. In March 2018 the CBSE exam papers were leaked causing great panic and scrambling for all the students appearing for their final exams.
This, unfortunately, has not been anything new in India in the recent and distant past. It has almost become a norm to expect exam papers being leaked, especially for most important Class 10 or 12 exams.
These exams are so crucial that the students’ careers and their entire future depends on how they fare here.
Over a period of decades many steps have been taken to safeguard and protect these exam papers from getting leaked before the exams.
However, it appears that despite stringent measures taken, nothing seems to be working. For every step taken to secure these exam papers, there’s an equal step taken by the bad guys against it!
With the advent of computers and easily programable sophisticated systems, there is a much better way to win this war against exam papers leak.
A computer program can be developed to automatically generate random questions only at the time of the start of exams. The program can easily include all safeguards, auditing, logging etc.
The base process is to feed the database with all the possible and potential questions from the syllabus of any subject. Group the questions in four different sections. Allocate weightage to each question per group. Then let the computer randomly pick a question from each group and formulate the entire exam paper instantaneously at the time of the exam.
The above is just an example, any such combination of process can be used to properly generate a complex and yet totally new exam test questions promptly.
Total computerization can add answering the questions online and the system controlling the results.
No matter what steps are taken, there is finally no control over unscrupulous and corrupt humans anywhere on earth.
